Umbria Jazz… is back in town

The notes of horns, saxophones and double basses are ready to cheer up the beautiful Umbrian main town, Perugia.

If you are into jazz music you can’t miss Umbria Jazz! The most important Italian festival of jazz music will keep us busy with its 10 days of programme.

Every year in July, Perugia hosts the festival which is a great way to spend summer evenings.

National and international renowned musicians play every day, putting in place fantastic concerts.

There’s a lot of choice. Some of the concerts are free and they generally take place in the main square of Perugia, piazza IV novembre, and in one of the parks of the town, “Giardini Carducci”, and the others in the Morlacchi theater and Santa Giuliana arena (you can also buy tickets online).

All over the town there’s a festive and joyful atmosphere.

Without music, life would be a mistake” F. Nietzsche.

Don’t make that mistake and enjoy Umbria Jazz.
